K. REKA BADGER writes weekly garden features for the Santa Barbara News-Press as well as wine columns for the Santa Maria Sun, Vintages and Santa Barbara Seasons. After nearly 20 yeaars in Los Alamos, she and her husband moved to San Luis Obispo County, where they built a hilltop house and now spend time gardening, wrangling pets and enjoying the view.
ANJIE PARK is a freelance writer who has lived in the Santa Ynez Valley since her early teens. She works for a prominent local winery and lives on the San Marcos Pass with her three children. MARK VAN DE KAMP is a former newspaper journalist with 17 years experience and now works for the City of Santa Maria. He and his wife Rina live in Solvang. JASON WHITNEY lives in Santa Barbara and teaches English at Dunn School in Los Olivos. He is part of a writing community at the South Coast Writing Project, a branch of the National Writing Project based at UCSB. |
