Western hospitality in a western town Santa Ynez was once a real frontier boom town and has kept its western traditions both in its architecture and way of life.

A visit to our local Santa Ynez Valley Historical Society Museum at the corner of Sagunto and Faraday St. is always a good way to introduce guests to the Valley, or update yourself on our local historical collections. It's also a great place to learn more about the early history of the Valley. It houses one of the greatest collections of stagecoaches and wagons you'll see anywhere in the country.

Call the museum at 688-7889 for information about the Vaquero Show in October and any other upcoming events. Be sure to visit the Outpost Trading Company at the corner of Edison and Sagunto. The store is celebrating its third anniversary. Local owners George and Chris Stout, along with their staff Charlotte, Joleigh, Brandon and Scott look forward to meeting you and showing the variety of unique merchandise.
