ABOUT INSIDE SANTA YNEZ VALLEY
| Autumn and harvest are synonymous in our agricultural community, and as usual, our autumn cover story features a winery/vineyard family. Santa Ynez Valley native Andrew Firestone is our Autumn 2003 Cover Story, which naturally includes his lovely fiance, Jen Schefft.
You may remember that Andrew's parents, Kate and Brooks Firestone, were our 2002 autumn cover story; normally the same family would not be featured again this soon. But there are exceptions. The fame and recognition Andrew acquired from his appearance earlier this year on the reality TV show the Bachelor promoted the Valley and the vocation of grape growing and wine production so admirably, that his story seemed perfectly appropriate for our 2003 issue, regardless of the timing.
